BIO

Frazan Adil Kotwal is currently studying at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart with Prof. Ulrike Sonntag. In August 2018 he won the second prize and the Audience Award of the first Indian Singing Competition "Voices of India". In the academic year 2017/2018 he was supported by the Media house Holtzbrinck Group. He has performed numerous recital concerts and solo performances in Germany. He is a participant and prize winner of the Fritz-Wunderlich-Society in Kusel, a scholarship holder of the Christel Guthörle Foundation Reutlingen and the Yehudi-Menuhin-Scholarship "Live Music Now".  In May, he was selected to debut with the Baden Baden Philharmonie and July he was the Baritone Soloist in the Vaughan Williams Song cycle The Songs of Travel for Baritone and Orchestra in the Stadthalle in Reutlingen. He has currently won the DAAD 2019 award for International Student who has done outstanding Social work in Germany and abroad. In March 2020 he did his role debut as Jupiter in Offenbachs Orpheus in the Underworld in Balingen.
